A few years back we used Sprint for our mobile phone service. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. We ended up canceling, and paying the penalty for early cancellation, because I just couldn’t deal with them anymore.
Last month we got a piece of mail from them that looked remarkably like a bill. Ends up we must have them for our home phone long distance, and just never realized it, since we don’t have a home phone. A few months back we faxed someone, long distance, and then Sprint billed us. We paid it. Well, we overpaid it.
By eight cents. Yes, .08.
They sent us a bill/statement last month telling us, wait for it… NOT TO PAY, since we had an eight cent credit. Okay, fine. Thanks.
Today we got another bill/statement. Same .08 credit. Yet, now, it seems like we should owe them .56. At least. How do I figure this?
Well, we had a credit of .08. Then they spent .32 (bulk mail rate) sending us a letter telling us about that credit. And then they did the same thing the next month. Not to mention the paper, ink, and transportation costs. And what about carbon offsets?
Seriously, Sprint. Keep my .08. Buy some customer service.
