Bloom with Concord & 9th

IMG_9032

I made a card today, just for fun. I’ve been wanting to use these two sets from Concord & 9th for a while, and sat down today to do it. That Sophisticated Script set is genius. Pure genius. Love the hand lettered yet imperfect look you get when using it. The imperfect part is all me, I’m sure there’s a way to make it perfect. But I love it as it is!

This is a close up up the “tile” that I made for my focal image. I cut the image out with a circle die, then used a Versamark Champagne pad on it, and did about seven or eight layers of clear embossing on top. You can see a bit of the shimmer in that picture. It’s a neat effect. Very subtle, which I like.

Concord & 9th has a new release, it’s just a day old. You should definitely take a look, see what you might “need”. 🙂

I didn’t understand half of what you just wrote (the technical bits, as I’m new to this) but the card is lovely, Lisa, and I especially like the script, however you did it. I am not seeing the “imperfect” anywhere. This makes me want to try harder at being crafty!
