It’s Feature Friday at Concord & 9th and all of us at Where Creativity Meets C9 are so honored to be participating this month.
This card features the new Sprinkles Turnabout and Sprinkles Tag Dies. I have a genuine, diagnosed, “thing” for tag dies, so I may as well just keep this one out on my desk. I love that it comes with two options for the tag hole.
This card came together very quickly. First I did the background by using the separate sprinkles stamp from the turnabout, and stamped that randomly around the card front using Mermaid ink from Lawn Fawn. That was just for a subtle background.
I used four different colored inks from Lawn Fawn and the Turnabout stamp to create a pattern on white cardstock. Then I used the tag die to cut out the tag itself. I did try to find a spot where there were less sprinkles, as I knew I wanted to add my sentiment, and didn’t want it to have to compete too much with the different colored inks. Just a bit of advice.
Stamped and embossed the sentiment, and cut out some hearts from coordinating colored cardstock. Adhered them where I wanted them, applied some shimmer pen, and some glossy accents to complete those embellishments. A bit of twine and foam tape, and we have a card!
I love this set, as the sentiments can be interpreted for specific events or just for saying hi to a dear friend.
