Ecobags

I bring my own bags to the grocery store, Target, wherever I go. The other day Robert and I went to AJ’s. To pick up some veggie trays for a dinner at a friend’s house. I forgot the bags in the car. When they asked us if we wanted paper or plastic bags I said “Woops, forgot our bags. We don’t need bags.”

They were shocked that we didn’t want bags. We had two veggie trays, a bag of carrots and a Pom tea. Why do we need a bag?

Anyway, I have been using random canvas tote bags that I have from various hotels, cruises, etc. Recently, I bought some tote bags from Ecobags. They’re very cool. I got the pack of 5. Kept two, sent three to my Mom and sister. Told them to keep them in the trunk and use them. I hope they are.

I went to Whole Foods tonight. You get a credit for bringing in your own bags. It’s a nickel per bag that you “save”. Well, my local store is having a drawing. Everyone who brings in a bag gets an entry to win a bag w/ $50 worth of groceries. I think that’s pretty cool.

Go get a bag, please. Or a few.
