How far will you go for new Rubber?

I was tested tonight. I will go 1.52 miles or 2.446 kilometers. I got an email tonight at 8:38, from my SU Demo (aka “Dealer”). She said our order was in from Stamp Club, which was last Saturday. I immediately called her and asked if I could come over now to pick up my new items. She said yes. I had to get ready:

It is presently 57 degrees Fahrenheit, which for us, in Arizona, means COLD. Now, it has been much colder than that lately. I’ve been here eight years and really, I must be a native now, because I had to go get a hat and gloves! These haven’t seen action since I lived in Chicago. Why did I need these items? I was going to walk to my dealer’s house.

I also got Tucker, my golden retriever. Not for protection, for entertainment. He could use the exercise, we don’t walk him enough. So why not bring him along? Plus, my dealer has 3 dogs, and Tucker loves to make new friends.

Is anyone wondering why I didn’t drive? Robert & I share a car, we just don’t need two cars. And he’s out right now. I couldn’t let that stop me from getting my new stamps though. What’s a little walk in the cold weather? :O)

It was great. Tucker is passed out by my feet, and I’m about to go get my new Stampin’ Up! Valentine’s Day Special dirty. Yay!

Oh, and I also got to show off my reusable grocery bag to Jan, my dealer. I carried one over with some wood blocks. I had extra, she needed some. Great way to reuse something, and I got to carry my new stuff back in my bag. Yay!
