This so sounds like me as a 5th grader. :O)
Basically, this kid points out a mistake to the Smithsonian. They write him a letter telling him he was correct. They spell his name wrong. Wow.

at least they paid attention. In 4th grade as part of local history, the kids had to know the tallest mountain etc in their state. My daughter named it on a test and the teacher flunked her answer. He insisted it was what was in the text book but as a life long resident of Michigan, I knew different and raised a stink. He still would not change her grade. Daughter took it all the way to the principle supplying proof for her answer and still nothing was done. I guess its easier to let sleeping dogs lie. WHen this teacher ended up teaching honors classes at the high school later, I made sure daughter took the classes from someone else. He and the system stinks.

LOL Oops. Guess the same person that edits their displays also edits the letters? 🙂
