Online Shopping Tip

I buy things online. Most of us probably do. There is something that has come up a lot recently with my friends and family about buying things online.

They don’t know where they purchased something from; inevitably when it hasn’t show up yet!

Here’s what I do. I have created a folder in my email (I use Outlook) called “online shopping”. When I get an email confirmation of my order, I move that email to the online shopping folder. Anything from that website related to an order goes into this folder.

In the online shopping folder I have another folder, labeled “received”. Once I receive this order, I move all of the related emails to the received folder.

This way I can easily see what’s outstanding in my shopping world. Makes it easier to follow up with delivery times, etc.

Just my two cents.

Oh, and yes, I have an entirely different folder for eBay. :O)

And, yes, this is also somewhat of a repeat post. It’s that cool of an idea.
