Do you have thousands of email messages in your inbox? I know I do. I use Outlook. I try very hard to use folders and to delete messages that I don’t need.
One thing I’ve done for more than a year now is that when I order something online and get the receipt and/or delivery email information, I put those emails into a folder that I’ve called “online shopping”. Feel free to name your folder whatever you like. :O)
It makes it easier for me to find emails when I need to track something down, ask a question, check pricing, etc.
Well, today, I further organized this folder. I added a sub-folder to this online shopping folder entitled “received”. This way, when I get something in the mail I can drag all related messages to this folder. Helps me figure out who owes me what.
And, in case you’re wondering, I save all of the boxes from items that I mail order. I reuse them religiously. You should do the same.
